Open-source MHD simulation code LAPS (UCLA-Pseudo-Spectral) I developed

3D simulation of turbulence using the 3D version of the LAPS code.

The code adopts Fourier-transform based pseudo-spectral method in all dimensions to calculate spatial derivatives. It is parallelized with Message-Passing-Interface and has very high scalability. It is very suitable for simulations of MHD turbulence, as shown by the above figure.
